Guest Speaker: Kory Mears

​Pastor served as a missionary in the Fiji Islands for 23 years where he oversaw the planting of several Baptist churches. He moved back to the US in November 2018 to become the Pastor of the Church where he trusted in Christ, Apple Valley Baptist Church in Wenatchee, WA. He is married with nine children.

Guest Speaker: Rob Watkins

Evangelist Rob Watkins was saved at 10 years of age through the bus ministry of an independent Baptist church in Huntington Beach, California.  This was also the age at which he began learning the art of ventriloquism.  As a 15-year-old young man at a youth camp, he sensed God’s call to preach.  While preparing for the preaching ministry, he met his wife Terri at Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College and they have been married since 1979.  They have five children.  Bro. Watkins has been in the pastoral ministry for over 30 years and, in 2016, moved into the itinerant preaching ministry.  Bro. Watkins’ ministry brings a unique skill set into the local church.  While he uses his talents of ventriloquism and illusions as tools that prove helpful in drawing people’s attention, it is the preaching of the Word of God that is paramount in his ministry.  His home church is Calvary Baptist Church in Yucca Valley, California (where he pastored for 23 years), and his life verse is I Corinthians 15:58.
